Something extraordinary from Sony has officially been unveiled at MWC 2014 in form of Xperia Z2, the successor which takes over the legacy of Xperia Z1. Sony also launched Xperia Z2 Tablet along with Xperia M2. Well no wonder Sony has only facelifted some features in Xperia Z1 as when compared to Xperia Z2.

Xperia Z2 features android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box, Snapdragon 801 Soc MSM8974AB 2.3 GHz quad core processor, Adreno 330 GPU, 3GB RAM in a 5.2″ FHD Triluminos and world’s first Live color LED display. Xperia Z2 features 20.7 MP Exmor RS rear cam capable of recording 4K videos ( 3840×2160 pixels/30p ) and 2.2 MP front cam.

Let’s have a look at some of the Xperia Z2 hands on experience photos and a preliminary review with it. Folks at Digi-Wo have managed to get hands on Xperia Z2.

On top there is 3.5 mm water proof headphone jack.

Both SIM card slot and USB ports are present under one flap which is a big disadvantage as USB port is to be opened number of times so every time it is opened dust will also enter in SIM card slot.

Noise reduction mic is present beside headphone jack.

Earlier today we posted Xperia Z2 IPS display vs Xperia Z1 TFT display comparisons, have a look.

Sony’s new Android 4.4.2 KitKat UI seems very nice, it would be great if Sony brings the same UI on Xperia Z1, Xperia Z Ultra, Xperia Z1S and Xperia Z2 Compact atleast.

What do you think guys, liked the Xperia Z2 pics ? Are you feeling Sony snatched flagship status from your Xperia Z1 too early, let us know. Drop your comments below.

Non replacable battey is very bad thing of any device. All brand are following this policy. But I love my zr because its battery can be replacable.
