It has only been a week since Sony rolled officially android 4.3 14.2.A.0.290 firmware update for Xperia Z1 and Z Ultra globally which brought new features like “Xperia” themes, smooth UI, improved camera etc. on both handsets but now it looks like that Sony is planning another major update in form of android 4.3 14.2.A.1.114 firmware on both handsets. A few days back we posted that 14.2.A.1.XXX firmware is about to come and here it is surfaced.
14.2.A.1.114 firmware has been certified on PTCRB website for both Xperia Z1 version C6902 / C6903 / C6906 and Xperia Z Ultra version C6802 / C6833 / C6843 / C6806. 14.2.A.1.114 changes the configuration from 14.2.A.0.XXX which clearly indicates that it will be a significant major bug fixing update.

Many users are facing serious bugs like severe battery drain, low Wi-Fi reception signal, yellow hue issue on android 4.3 14.2.A.0.290 firmware on Xperia Z1 and touch screen unresponsive issues on Xperia Z Ultra, we hope these and all others bugs will be fixed in this upcoming update.

wifi association rejected and noise in cam in low light and superior auto still 8 mp not 20, and no scene mode for the 20 mp
fix the battery drain, ram, the audio quality, add white balance please.
Need more feature on stamina mode (reduce cpu and gpu speed for battery life, slow the frame rate to 30 -most app/game use 60fps, some developer said that reduce frame rate can increase battery life-, and reduce more brightness(but increase the white-ness). Camera noise and blur on low light environment and if we take a pic on the words isn’t clear on mid range(Iphone 4 and 5 win) snap, close snap is awesome, every single words is clear.
Auto clicking, sometime i put my finger in mid air, it assume touching -.-” dont know why… hope sony fix that. some user no responsive when touch, but me too responsive “May the Force be with you” HAHA.
Downloaded the new 4.3 14.2.A.0.290 the other day & it totally mucked up my Sony, nothing would work properly….it was like some cheap Chinese knock off….so unresponsive. Could not even get it to hook back up to my laptop to ‘repair/back up’ it….had to end up doing a reset that lost me everything…..was not happy.
It is now on the 4.3 ……..290 but the wifi keeps saying ASSOCIATION REJECTED…..hope this new 4.3 ….114 sorts this out but scared to download any new software updates now!!!!!!!

After i update my Xperia Z1 to 4.3 / 14.2.A.0.290 my phone have this bug :
1. Phone Setting – Sound – Soung Effects – Sound enhamcements – setting – Unfortunately, Sound enhancements has stopped.
2. at the same time was on the phone i can not read a short text message or reading a list of contacts.
Please tell me what happen in this version.

did the upgrade from 4.1 to 4.3 when it first came out, on my Xperia ZR. Wifi association rejected, decided to go back to 4.1 🙁
Since the 4.2.2 to 4.3 “update” I can no longer use the hansfre function on my car audio system… Worked fine on 4.2.2.. Reported this to Sony and they said it wasn’t their fault it was the car audio that was the problem.. Utter tosh…
Have the wifi association rejected issue and the battery drain issue… Please fix soon my phone just got replaced because of a no mobile signal in buildings issue, and now it’s really getting annoying. I have only had my phone for 1 1/2 months…
