Xperia L was recently updated to android 4.2.2 15.3.A.0.26 firmware which brought a lot many features which Xperia Z family android phones got in their update. It’s overall a major update for Xperia L users and has enhanced the performance of the device. Noticing carefully it was found that some stock apps have also been updated which are not yet updated on Xperia Z1 and other android 4.2.2 running Xperia smartphones. Recently we saw Sony rolling out Album app version 5.2.A.0.6, Tasks App version 1.0.A.0.1, Walkman app version 7.15.A.0.0 and Info-eye version 1.1.02 on Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z Ultra ( Album app on all Xperia Z family ).

Xperia Home launcher has been updated to version 6.1.A.0.5 in Xperia L android 4.2.2 15.3.A.0.26 firmware though the present Xperia Home launcher on Xperia Z1 reads as version 6.0.2.A.0.13.

Working on ? For now Xperia Home 6.1.A.0.5 version is tested for Xperia Z1 and Xperia Z only 🙂

How to Install ?

Just install like normal apk. No root needed.

In case you don’t like it you can roll back to old version of Xperia Home 6.0.2.A.0.13 on Xperia Z1.

Hi Anurag,

I have downloaded the launcher. One bug, to uninstall any app, one needs to go the the first page to get the uninstall option. clicking on the top to get that feature doesn’t work
