In the starting of month August we saw Sony rolling out officially android 4.2.2 jelly bean 10.3.1.A.0.244 update for Xperia ZR C5503 and C5502 version globally but on the other hand Indian Xperia ZR C5502 users didn’t receive this 10.3.1.A.0.244 update on their handsets and they remained on android 4.1.2 10.1.1.A.1.310 firmware. A few days back we reported that 10.3.1.A.2.67 firmware is in testing for Xperia Z and may roll out soon but now we have seen this 10.3.1.A.2.67 firmware update for Xperia Z and soon expecting it to arrive on Xperia Z, ZL and Tablet Z.
Just a moment ago we spotted Android 4.2.2 10.3.1.A.2.67 firmware update on our Indian Xperia ZR C5502 handset confirming that finally Android 4.2.2 update arrived for Xperia ZR in India. Xperia ZR users who have already this android 4.2.2 10.3.1.A.0.244 firmware update are also receiving this 10.3.1.A.2.67 firmware update being confirmed in Vietnam.
Note :- 10.3.1.A.2.67 firmware brings android 4.2.2 officially for Xperia ZR in India and rest who already have android 4.2.2 10.3.1.A.0.244 update for them it is only a bug fixing update.

10.3.1.A.2.67 firmware is available over PC companion and SUS as usual, connect your Xperia ZR to PC and check for 10.3.1.A.2.67 firmware update notification as shown below and proceed as per on screen instructions.
For all those who haven’t got this update notification till now can update their Xperia ZR by manually flashing the 10.3.1.A.2.67 firmware ftf file.

YOU CAN ACTUALLY CROSS-FLASH THE FIRMWARE BETWEEN C5503 AND C5502..THERE IS NO PROBLEM AT ALL, N I HAVE TRIED IT. 🙂
if i wanted the C5503 then i would have bought the c5503. This article makes reference only to the c5502 but then fails to provide the download lilnk. when people read c5502 they expect to get c5502.
you would have bought C5503 if it was available in your region. Truth is you had to choose only C5502 because it was available only for you. Lol 😛
READ the content of post, it mentions update rolled out for both C5502 / C5503, writing in title only C5502 doesn’t make the article only about C5502… If an update is rolled on C5502 then it is on C5503 also, quite obvious thing.
P.S. This is the only ftf file available on net and sent to us by some users. If we will get C5502 ftf file we will update the links.

i’m actually on the RU fw since it appeared a few days ago but i’m guessing there’s a bunch of LTE related files that i don’t really need taking up extra clutter :p tks again

Yes flashing c5502 file will get you extra lte settings…wait for my comment letting you know the si customization number

Few days ago I flashed the TW version(Taiwan) of .244 firmware. Everything is fine , but one serious problem and its very sporadic . Suddenly you will not be able to make any call to other person although network bar will show its full .When trying to dial MMI Codes such as *123# for balance enquiry it will say invalid MMI code or invalid network . No one was able to call me the caller will hear that All lines are busy. Last time when I faced this problem I thought there must be some network issues going on with Airtel so ignored it , then suddely saw a friend of mine who has not updated the phone with same network is not facing any issue. So after then I only came to know there is some problem with my phone and not network. So i fiddled with the newtwork setting changed the newtork serach to manual and serached for Airtel once more then suddenly the problem got resolved. Now yesterday I again faced the same issue , but this time I am not able to fix it by changing the newtork settings. So flasked the FTF once more and all is working fine. DOnt know what is happening . But I guess there might be some problem with baseband versions as the firmware of Taiwan.
SO can you tell me one thing the FTF which you provided above is of India or some other country
